International Institute of Travel has a broad range of enrichment activities and information sessions available for all year students. Extracurricular activities can form a vital part of your experience with the college. Besides that you can enjoy an amazing experience with your classmates.

Goway Travel Presentation
August, 2019

On August 20, our Travel & Tourism group received a visit from Goway Travel, Sam Cottar - Business Development Manager. Goway has been providing unforgettable travel experiences for travelers and our students had a great chance to learn more about the company and also the industry.


The Big Smoke Burger
May, 2019

The Hospitality students visited a franchise restaurant this month: The Big Smoke Burger.
They learned skills to run a restaurant in the 21st century, how to target the market, franchise business, competition, etc. At the end of the visit, they had a taste of the smoke burger, yummy!



Courtyard Marriott Hotel Tour
May, 2019

Students from our Hotel Management Program took a tour at Courtyard Marriott Hotel in downtown Toronto. They were able to visit the Hotel facilities, and learn more about their operations!


Hotel X Tour
May, 2019

Students from our Hospitality Program took a tour in the Hotel X, in Toronto. They learned about Hotel Operations and other aspects of the Industry!



Steam Whistle On Site Tour

The Management students had the opportunity to visit a Canadian Company that they had learned a case study in class: Steam Whistle. Fun and Knowledgeable Experience!



Courtyard Marriott Hotel Tour

Sandals Presentation

At the end of the month, Giselle Williams, a Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts rep., came in to the International Institute of Travel to talk to our Travel & Tourism students about Sandals and Beaches' breathtaking vacation destinations.

Hotel and Billy Bishop Airport Tour

The Travel and Tourism class made a site visit to a local hotel and the Billy Bishop Airport to see first hand what they have been learning in class.

Sandbanks Provincial Park (Prince Edward County)
August, 2015

One day trip in a natural environment. See below some attractions:

  • Best beaches in Canada;
  • Picnic areas;
  • Swimming/Sunbathing;
  • Guided walking trail that allow visitors to experience the dune and wetland habitats of the park;
  • Scenic Hiking and Wild Life;
  • Amphitheatre and Visitor's Centre with display and exhibits with live reptiles,amphibians and fish - Water sports, and much more!
