Learning at Sea - Introduction

The International Institute of Travel is one of Canada's largest travel & tourism training centres. For over 24 years IIT has been providing qualitative training in Travel and Tourism and Hospitality. Our specialized programs are certified and recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities in Ontario. The International Institute of Travel also offers the IATA/UFTA Foundation course in travel.

As part of its mission to improve the quality of travel counsellors, IIT is now offering the "Learning at Sea" seminars in conjunction with Astor Travel Services and major cruise companies. The "Learning at Sea" seminars will provide the participants with on-board experience enabling them to share this with their clients.

Subjects covered by the lectures are: What motivates people to buy cruises? Understanding the 5 essentials steps in making a sale and countering typical objections to cruising. These "Learning at Sea" seminars qualify the participants for 6 Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors (C.I.T.C.) credits towards their certification.
