Hiring: Travel Consultant
Location: Dundas and Kipling
Required Qualifications (Must Have):
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Turbo SABRE
- Retail travel agency experience (min. 1 year experience)
and/or Travel and Tourism Diploma
- Good P.C. skills (MS Mail, Word) in Windows environment
- Must be a Team Player and be open to feedback on performance
improvement
- Excellent travel product knowledge from a wide range of
Canadian gateways
- Excellent Service and communication skills
- Must show initiative
- BSP & ticketing knowledge essential
- Strong time management & organizational skills
- Able to work shifts including Saturdays
- Flexibility
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
- Self motivated with a strong apetite to sell and
demonstrated success in doing so.

Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Travel and Toursim
- Organized and detail oriented with exceptional
selling and customer service skills.
- Prior experience in the travel industry an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Available for shift work, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluent in English, French an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Provide seat and hotel availability, flight schedules, destination
information, terms and conditions and pertinent information
to Travel Agents.
- Process changes as requested
by Travel Agnets.
- Maintain up-to-date brochures and promotional materials.
- Liase with Lead Agents, your Supervisor and Director regarding
programs and Travel Agent feedback.
